Danit Peleg is a fashion designer and a pioneer in 3D-printed fashion. She made international headlines for being the first designer in the world to create an entire collection using desktop 3D home printers.
Her collections received global attention both in the fashion world and the tech community. In the summer of 2016, Danit was invited to design a 3D-printed dress for the headliner dancer at one of the most moving segments of the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Rio. Danit believes that advancements in 3D printing technology could revolutionize fashion design and manufacturing processes.
Danit’s Team aims to revolutionize the fashion industry by working towards making 3D Printed Fashion accessible and drastically cutting waste and pollution. This means disrupting traditional fashion supply chains and ultimately creating a more sustainable, hopeful alternative for the future. Danit’s 3D-printed pieces are highly coveted and have been presented worldwide.
Danit is a TED speaker and has been featured in world-renowned publications such as Vogue, The New York Times, and Women’s Wear Daily. In 2018, Forbes recognized her as one of Europe’s Top Women in Tech.
In 2019, the BBC named her as one of the 100 most inspiring and influential women in the world. Danit believes that 3D printing opens up fascinating new opportunities in digital fashion, combined with the power of NFTs her vision of downloading and printing clothes is now closer than ever. Danit is a graduate of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and she is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
